Cosmo: Some would rather anchor their beliefs in people here who haven't had contact with Rim in the last 2 to 3 years, and have no direct knowledge of the validity of the technology. Gee, should we believe them, or should we believe those who have actually helped develop the tech, tested the tech, or have seen it demonstrated and have the technical understanding to draw an educated conclusion.

"Embarq is investigating multiple technologies in support of future wireline multimedia services," explained Steve Carter, Director of Network Services for Embarq. "This initiative with Rim Semi will help to determine if Embarq can leverage a new technology to give our customers new services across our wireline network” Both companies will work with Embarq’s suppliers to develop prototype network elements like digital subscriber line access multiplexers and consumer modems that utilize the Rim Semiconductor chipset.

"Rim Semiconductor has developed a new and very different very-high-speed DSL that achieves higher bit rates than VDSL2 on both short and long loops," says Dr. Kenneth J. Kerpez, senior scientist, Applied Research, Telcordia Technologies. "Carriers now have a powerful tool to offer a full range of services. The technology from Rim Semiconductor also has unique capabilities for carriers, including efficient modulation technology for higher speed transmission, and an on-the-fly adaptive equalization to limit noise that can cause service disruption on a line carrying IPTV signals."

"The offset QAM algorithm inside Embarq(TM) is absolutely at the leading edge of any transport processor in the world," states Krishna Yarlagadda, President of HelloSoft. HelloSoft, which currently employs 130 people, has recently dedicated a team of experienced hardware, software and management engineers both in San Jose, California and in its development center in Hyderabad, India to the commercialization of Embarq(TM). This staff has completed its review of the hardware, software and competitive position and has concluded that the Embarq(TM) family of transport processors has unique features and benefits that set it apart from the competition that will allow it to offer very significant advantages to the world's telecommunications carriers."

“Rim Semiconductor has developed powerful technology offering tremendous advantages to telecommunications companies and equipment manufacturers,” stated Mr. Wojcik. “I believe that the Company has an opportunity to develop a strong customer base”. Mr. Wojcik has held many leadership positions including vice president of sales for Alcatel.

"Rim Semiconductor is focused on solving the most important problem in telecommunications today," explained Dr. Tan. "Carriers are struggling with the demand for faster Internet access speeds and higher quality over longer distances, and Rim Semi’s technology holds the promise of realizing their business goals. With the rapid growth of the broadband industry in the Asia-Pac countries such as Korea, Japan and China, the next few years will be very exciting and challenging for Rim Semi, and I am delighted to assist them in their growth.”Dr. Tan was formerly the head of the Technology Development Department of SingTel, Asia’s leading telecommunications group.

And the fact is that as time goes by and this company gets worse and worse ; sooner or later there will be no dilution at all. No one will be willing to give this company the time of day more or less actual money. At that point the dilution will stop. And rim will be delisted from any exchange and rim will probably cease to exist. And you will STILL be pumping it.
