I can give a real world example of a "near" 100% loss.

LIBE was at .10 around 6 months ago. Now it is .0002. That is a real world example of a 99.8% loss of value. But 400% is still impossible as a loss.

Of course in real world math a 400% loss is impossible. 100% loss possible. 400% impossible.
