LPI - sorry for your loss on this one, SSK. It's been a tough ride for me, too, even when i got in what was i thought a very low avg price of $6.06.
One thing to note is that now that the ER is out, the co. is free to resume the buyback after the blackout period. If they were buying a lot of shares up in the $8s, i would think they would want to buy 3 or 4 million shares at least down here in the $5s, which may be one reason why it's touching back up in the 5.90s as i post this....
I'm going to hold on for the longer term b/c i think there's a very good chance of a buyout, in light of that Tudor Pickering Holt analyst speculation last week mentioned at Forbes and elsewhere.
CEO Randy has been successful selling at least two other oil/gas cos. and i think he'll do the same here.
