Documents Expose President Donald Trump Border Deployment As Political Stunt | Rachel Maddow | MSNBC
MSNBC Published on Nov 1, 2018
James LaPorta, investigative reporter for Newsweek, talks with Rachel Maddow about U.S. military assessment documents leaked to him that show a stark contrast with the racist panic Donald Trump is trying to whip up ahead of the 2018 election.
Right-Wing Militias Haven't Always Been Racist -- But That May Be Changing [...] It's not 1996 all over again, or 1997 or 1998. Although there has been a remarkable rash of domestic terrorist incidents since Obama's election in November, it has not reached the level of criminal violence, attempted terrorist attacks and white-hot language that marked the militia movement at its peak. But militia training events, huge numbers of which are now viewable on YouTube videos, are spreading. One federal agency estimates that 50 new militia training groups have sprung up in less than two years. Sales of guns and ammunition have skyrocketed amid fears of new gun control laws, much as they did in the 1990s. p - The situation has many authorities worried. Militiamen, white supremacists, anti-Semites, nativists, tax protesters and a range of other activists of the radical right are cross-pollinating and may even be coalescing. In the words of a February report from law enforcement officials in Missouri, a variety of factors have combined recently to create "a lush environment for militia activity." 2009 - https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=40727864
How Democrats Are Fighting Against A President Who Won't Tell The Truth | The Last Word | MSNBC
MSNBC Published on Nov 1, 2018
President Trump has ramped up his false statements in the final days of the midterm elections. Lawrence says the key to Democrats campaigning successfully against Trump is to campaign on the issues and not take on Trump and his divisive rhetoric. John Heilemann and Jamil Smith join Lawrence O'Donnell.
Not easy for Democrats to fight an election against a pathological liar who has no problem using his White House pulpit to spread election propaganda. The route many are taking is to talk about the issues that matter to people, as healthcare. And to ignore Trump's latest junk.
Trump: "When I can I tell the truth." You're right Lawrence. When i saw Donald say it this morning i thought - that's a lie in itself.
