Anti-drug antibodies / still place for a better anti-CTLA4

... as I came across the notion of anti-drug antibodies (ADA) at this board and incidentally saw this on twitter:

Major finding on immunogenicity. Reported rates of Anti-Drug Antibodies (ADAs) differ according to the immunotherapy used. ADAs can neutralize a drug (see analysis of OAK/lung & ipi/melanoma ⬇️). Look at a) the incidence of ADA for ipi, b) the curves for ADA-positive/negative patients for ipi in melanoma. Whoa. If there is a quater of people with ADA then there is still a place for a better anti-CTLA4*.

* caveat: since there is only ipi and no other approved anti-CTLA4, it's still uncertain how much the target anti-CTLA4 and how much the specific antibody (ipi) are responsible for the ADA.
