Greentree is doing the audit, and they are authorized. So you can rest easy jking
They aren't clear about it on their website, but they do provide audit services. The principle auditor at greentree, I have confirmed from green tree, is mike bongiovanni (name familiar to anyone?) who is listed there under "bongiovanni and associates"
At least they have in the past, although all have been failures...complete lack of follow through, wildly missed deadlines. they even try to do the whole "mail order" audit...mailing statements and confirms back and forth etc, it doubles the time it takes and probably ends up costing just as much as it would to fly someone down to the company for a week or two.
I will have to look into whether this bonjovi dude was involved in the screw ups with HISC and EMAX, it could be possible that greentree switched auditors
