Thanks Stewy. I just checked the OTC short report and NOUV has been substantially shorted since the news came out. This explains the huge bid that NOUV has been having. MMs are trying to bait people to sell into the bid. They have been stacking the ask to encourage people to dump on the bid. It looks like they are naked shorting, going off of OTC short report.
To me it doesnt make sense to start shorting a stock that has a pending catalyst in a hot industry. They must have been shorting for some time now and are now scrambling to cover. This explains also how quickly the bid grew after the dump on the bid a few days ago. At some point they have to cover and NOUV will go parabolic. All in my opinion.
I appreciate your research and info. Can there be a short squeeze that drives price up significantly with so many shares outstanding? Maybe I should define my idea of significantly for this stock, by that I mean more than one or two ticks, which is still a big move obviously on a percentage basis.
