The op-ed isn't just desperate, it's doublespeak. He went on a conspiracy oriented rant at the hearing. But that rant was echoed over and over by the Republican judiciary committee, all of whom remind me of my uncle who makes Thanksgiving uncomfortable every year. The rant is a lie about reality, claiming allegations of sexual assault are the Democrat's fault. It's still a dominant narrative. Now Kavanaugh is claiming thats not really him, while he continues to gladly benefit from the narrative he created. Using doublespeak to abdicate himself of any responsibility? Sounds like a Trump nominee.
