Seems to me that there is a significant difference between a slanderous statement regarding an illegal act like "cooking the books" and giving an "opinion" with no factual basis.
Remember when YOUTUBE was thought to be a "dumb idea" because they didn't see how you could make $$$. Notice the $100's of millions of dollars worth of ads on YOUTUBE now?
