Do you mean the whole Hank Paulson saga which is heavily documented? Yes, the boards gave their consent -- they signed on the line to give their companies away.

The only Preferred vote that matters is the 2/3 vote to do anything to Preferreds. That's a good vote to have ;-)

There are numerous scenarios where Commons don't end up much better than where they were at the end 2017. There are a few where they may see $5-8. There are hardly any where they see $10+.

Preferreds have the majority of the lawsuits, the Good Ol' Boys Club (Mnuchin, Paulson, etc), and Contract Rights. They're also the safer bet with about the same upside as the majority of the likely Common scenarios
