I support Kavanaugh. I support legal immigration and the enforcement of current immigration laws.
I did not agree with every aspect of the tax cuts. There should be, IMO, a tax bracket for incomes over $1 million annually. Carried interest should be repealed. If your passive income is over a certain legislated amount per year, it should be taxed as regular income. And if your capital gains is over a certain percentage of your AGI, you pay the regular income rate.
The jury is still out for me on the tariffs. But this is the first time in years where China has been dramatically challenged on their trade practices. I have direct knowledge of the problems in doing business in China. And there is NO way you can call it free and fair trade.
I support backing out of the Iran deal.
I disagree with how he "manages" the White House. It is too chaotic and operates on impulsive tweets, off the cuff remarks. Basically, very problematic for those that support some of his policies.
And none of my colleagues--Dems or Republicans- would agree with your contention that I seem proud of Trump. Far from it. I cannot even watch any of his rally speeches.
