My basic spelling is mediocre, but I can usually fix the misspellings when I see them. My fingers, on the other hand, just can't seem to spell much of anything correctly. Back in the days of learning speeling, they were too busy with Russian and Roman.
You are right about one thing though: when I drink both the fingers and the recognition skills go downhill quickly. I will have to spend some drinking evening posting without any corrections.
