chwdrhed: Very sorry if I was not clear in my previous post. Almost everyone who posts on the EDIG board has a bias and our biases show in our posts... my posts and your posts included.
Contrary to what you seem to think, I would definitely NOT say that you show a bias in favor of the EDIG "cheerleaders" (meaning the pumpers/hypesters) as it is clear that excessive hype doesn't impress you. It appears that you understand that the outrageous, unfounded and unrealistic expectations set by some posters are not good for those who have a "long" perspective on the stock.
However, after reading your posts on EDIG for several months and hearing your reasons for deleting some of my posts (reasons which don't always seem to apply to others who post similar or worse comments/observations), I do believe you sometimes reveal a bias against critics of e.Digital Corporation. Although it is rare, you do occasionally join in the frey and throw out a few snide remarks that further reveal your bias. This is understandable since you are admittedly long on EDIG stock.
In the end, I have to agree with Old Drummerman that I can't think of anyone who posts about EDIG who would do a better job, myself included.
Yes, I do think your bias shows, sometimes even in your moderator duties. However, I also believe that you do your very best to ignore your bias in making moderator decisions and that you often pay a large price in the form of slings and arrows cast toward you by your fellow longs who want you to eliminate all forms of dissent.
To make what should be a short post even longer, I guess I have to say that even though we usually disagree and have our little PM arguments, I can't think of anyone else who would do the job better. I really believe that you do approach it with good intentions and that the board has become a much more balanced place since you became moderator.
Believe it or not, I (unlike that greedy Old Drummerman) am not going to ask for a payoff for these comments.
