I tried my best to hype him up but sadly, he still hasn't accepted my invite on LinkedIn.

There is still something interesting about this new info. I don't have enough knowledge to comment on NOLs and all that, but if KKR is behind it, that article S2focus posted claims they have the "largest in the region" $9.3bn USD equity fund. With the assumed ballpark buyout prices on here of $150mm USD, that represents 1.6%. Chump change really. Unless I am interpreting that wrong.

Also, somewhere it said that the buyer plans on retooling the plant for a higher-margin product. Could be a ploy to downplay the value of the IP. As I said months ago, imagine manufacturing a biodegradable plastic and bagging a customer like Coke, Nestle, or Pepsi. The expected growth of bio-succinic acid forecast by energy analysis firms in the coming years is just too much to ignore.

Whether it's technical analysis or imaginative logic, it's still all speculation at this point. Good luck to you as well.

Here's a new story that explains Aimia buyout that's being referred to. Aimia has nothing to do with Eno except that it seems Eno may have modeled his head fakes after Aimia's actions. Aimia sold for 450m after a 250m lowball. These are not numbers for Bioamber assets; they are numbers for Aimia sale.
