Would try different “experts”. An existing publicly traded company cannot do an “INITIAL public offering”.

Their shares are already traded publicly.

This is remarkably simple.

They can do a “secondary offering” or a “follow on offering”...or just simply a “public offering”.

But something can only be “initial” once...

Yes, it can be done, and will most likely catch a lot of shorters by surprise IMO.
