There's a buyout of a public company happening? I didn't see that, pretty sure that Sound Concepts is private. When a buyout happens, the acquiring company is buying (or trading their own stock for) the stock of the target, so, yes, some premium is paid at times.

If the market speaks a higher price for nFUSZ after a few PR's, so be it, but it will still be the market speaking. You have to consider, however, the underwriter won't buy a spike, they're going to look at the price history of nFUSZ, and the prior spike and return to 80% of the peak won't be overlooked. Remember, they're going to want to sell all the stock they have at a profit, and it is doubtful they'll take on stock at $1.50 if it has a history in a $0.50 - $0.60 channel.

What would you price it at if it spiked to $1 after another PR, similar to the ones issued earlier in the year for Oracle and Marketo?
