I saw the plant months ago via google earth, but don't know how recent the imagery is. There are a few Cargill plants nearby, some of them look like agriculture in nature. I was wondering where BioAmber got their corn from and whether they got the corn already processed down into sugars before introducing it into BioAmber's plant.

In any case, the end result is a 'green' version of Succinic acid, which can be used in many consumables, namely plastic bottles, straws and such. The 'green' industry has a market cap in the billions, with BioAmber having big customers like PTT:

I hope they are still in the picture somehow. Perhaps a JV with ADM and others?
