arizona1, irregardless of how it happened, and of how much Franken contributed positively to the party political cause seems to me the number of Democrats who accepted he was guilty of abuse of women to the extent that he should resign warranted it. You obviously know more about the background of the situation than i do, but that doesn't take away from the fact he was guilty of at least enough of what he was accused of that the Democrats did the right thing, and to second guess the decision now does no one any justice.
