That's always the way when a pump crew gets involved. Business does not operate at the speed of pinks. They're not busting their asses to get this done on our timeline.
The reverse merger story is as true as it ever was (by which I am not guaranteeing that it's true, only pointing out that the events of the last week don't change anything).
For my part, many months ago I set a GTC sell at .01 and it filled last week. I now have a GTC buy set at .005 that I expect it to fill before the weekend.
Despite a long-term habit of setting that GTC sell and checking its status every few months, this time I will wait a bit and give this rumor a chance to play out.
