There is a "Democratic" state of mind out there that is so far left, they could not possibly understand helping people whom need it ... Very sad ... And there are a number of people in the republican party that work well with them on this.
Thank god Trump is a populist, and stands up for all people. It is probably why both parties are fighting him for the most part.
