Why not make at least one sample company that made a large crime that was not prosecuted?

No they got a bailout instead. Except for Iceland where they were held accountable and sent to jail. Iceland also instated a law that to become a politician, you must not have any professional designations such as being a lawyer...didn't make the news much...lol.
