I think it is combination of many things
but
there is a real and systematic effort by Republicans to deny votes to the poor , minorities and young people their right to vote

this week in county in Georgia with is 93% black they just decided to close 7 of 9 voting places because they are not ADA compliant .
These voting places were perfectly find TWO WEEKS AGO when Georgia had a primary .
It is baffling how this helps a disabled person to vote if their voting place is CLOSED?
the typical remedy is to have curb side voting available to the small amount of voters who are disable.
