ForReal, it looks illegal/legal has not determined totally yet.
From what I am reading and hearing on the news, Rivera was not known by that name by his employers. He had an outdated State ID card and Social Security card with a different name.
And Eric Lang has since changed his story about the E-Verify vetting.
However, I agree, it has not been totally proven either way, whether Rivera was here legally or not. We should soon find out.
Editor's note: Yarabee Farms, Cristhian Rivera's employer, said Tuesday that they had used the federal E-Verify program to vet Rivera's identity. On Wednesday, officials from the farm acknowledged they had not used the E-Verify system and that Rivera had given them false information.
Investigators said Rivera was in the country without proper legal documentation.
