On the NOLIB board here is a quote taken from the iBox
NOTE: We are not suggesting or stating that being a liberal is somehow wrong... We just don’t want the liberal point of view here. We are truly sorry if this does not please you.
Now I've been asked to never post on that board. I've paid for a lifetime subscription and I don't think I should be banned from any board here. It's like saying a KKK meeting is being held at the public square and I can't go there and protest.
Now if the KKK meeting is held in a private club that's fine. Have Matt set up a private place where only the KKK members can say the secret password and get in and we aren't exposed to their vile hate. So I would say one TOS rule and the mods abide by that rule. If they can't then they either shut the board down or not be mods. No additional rules.
And there is always the Moderators Omnipotence Rule, a.k.a. post removal reason #7: "Thread Disruption -- someone posting to disrupt the board, stir up trouble."
As a confirmed megalomaniac, I find this to be a most excellent tool. My philosophy on the STTI board is simple: Behold my power and despair.
Phil, are you suggesting THIS part of the TOU is not equally enforced on each and every iHub board? Are you saying you don't or won't enforce this on the boards you moderate?
