Water is going to become more precious as time goes on.
One of the great controversies, among several surrounding the Keystone XL pipeline is that their plan to run it over one of the most valuable aquifers on the planet.
I think the Kochs and their ilk figure they'll always be able to afford water. And the people who are likely to be most affected are consistently voting for the ones who most want to destroy theirs.
Perhaps when all is said and done, Charles and David will arrange to sell them some water... at a fair price of course.
