Canadian judge . Canadian assets being liquidated. American company owns Canadian corporations / subs . CCAA is to pay off creditors and avoid bankruptcy. Any leftover money lands in the Now empty American shell corporation you own shares in . Canadian judge has no say over the American corporation. Which is why they took it out of the Delaware bankruptcy court . As the pumpers stated many times case closed . They are going to milk it to the end .

I don't believe there will be any shell after all is said and done. This is not typical pennyland games. This process is controlled by the court.

IF they liquidated assets to multiple buyers AND there are excess revenues after paying all the debts... I believe the court will order distribution to the shareholders and the immediate dissolution of the corporation. $BIOA will cease to exist in the end.

IF a strategic buyer acquires the whole business, I sense they will pay off the shareholders and dissolve Bioamber, rather than operate as a public subsidiary. Although, PTT has an ever-growing number of subsidiaries... they could keep it going as Bioamber, but take it private. I just think corporate ego (especially foreign) will want their own brand on this deal.
