Capitulation is when investors give up any previous gains in stock prices by selling equities, to get out of the market. Capitulation involves extremely high volume and sharp declines. It also usually involves panic selling. The term is a derived from a military term which refers to surrender.
It actually IMO is what is needed to put a floor in here. Flatline just above a penny, wasn't making anyone money.
Side note: Constellation (beverage) added another $4B investment in a marijuana company today. There’s huge eyes on marijuana and hemp infused beverages. I wouldn’t sell one share of KGKG. Other beverage companies will be reviewing the entire sector right on the heels of what Constellation is doing.
