Here is the catch. There is no High-Definition player available to play it in High-Def. Sony makes a High-Def recorder that records programs that are in High-Def. It is only sold in japan for $3,000.00 The way I understand it there are some computers (high speed) that can play it. The DVD will still play but just regular, it will not be reproduced in High-Def until you have the correct equipment to play it.
High-Def is very confusing. Let me be clear. They will still sell the DVD's fine. It will get better though once High-Def DVD players are made. They can be made and put out in market within months. Hollywood is the hold up here. The way I understand it Artisian has released already the first High-Def DVD the new release of Terminator 2 and SIL will be the second.
