34. Good idea. Yet, just think of them doing it at Christmas time.
Christmas gift marketing while the product is HOT!

I can see it now.............

You've seen the hottest extreme surfing movie ever!!!!!

Now you can own it yourself, or give it as a gift this Christmas for that someone special in your life!!!

But wait! Theirs MOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRE!!!

Call this toll free number in the next half hour and free of charge you get one surfer tatoo gift certificate!

One of the basic rules of marketing is to market the heck out of the product while its hot.

Not next March.

Here is the catch. There is no High-Definition player available to play it in High-Def. Sony makes a High-Def recorder that records programs that are in High-Def. It is only sold in japan for $3,000.00 The way I understand it there are some computers (high speed) that can play it. The DVD will still play but just regular, it will not be reproduced in High-Def until you have the correct equipment to play it.

High-Def is very confusing. Let me be clear. They will still sell the DVD's fine. It will get better though once High-Def DVD players are made. They can be made and put out in market within months. Hollywood is the hold up here. The way I understand it Artisian has released already the first High-Def DVD the new release of Terminator 2 and SIL will be the second.

I agree though there will be a day where any floor in this country that sells TV's will have SIL playing.

34Simmons, I hope somebody is pointing that out, emphatically, to these retailers.
