I'm pretty sure most Cortex CCs have been during trading hours the past couple of years, I distinctly remember watching the pps change while the CCs were going on.

Perhaps as you mention this CC has more market moving potential than the prior ones, hence the after hours scheduling.

But that's exactly what I was getting at, that the scheduling change may have such reasoning behind it, in which case we could infer there is some fairly major news to be discussed... Aiming4.

There is no rule against holding an important CC while the market is open—lots of companies do it.

This is a separate issue from what time of day the CC is held.
