nlightn, rooster lies. rooster, as many other Trump supporters, lie as easily as Trump does. rooster, knows many of the substantive lies Trump tells, eg, rooster knows Trump still describes the fact that Putin attacked your electoral system as a hoax when the audience is a suitable Trump-cult adore-him one.
As far as Sater goes i'd guess that only some 10% of Americans would know who he is, and about Trump's involvement with him.
There are three chief reasons why Trump was elected. One, the 30-year Hillary-hate disinformation campaign run by conservatives against her, Bill, and their Clinton Foundation. Many Trump supporters are proud members of the hate-Hillary cult. Two, that Trump conned them in that they believed he was telling the truth about what he himself represented, and that his professed care for their economic concerns was sincerely important to him. And three they believed he told the truth most of the time.
On Sater, you learned a good lesson when you gave your guy the Sater material. They don't care what kind of an a-hole Trump has been his entire life.
LOL, up at my local the other day a Trump supporter (i'm guessing as in the US some 30% still would be) said he liked Trump because he was a "character." That was it. They see him as the same as all other politicians (a lie in itself), yet different just because they believe Trump says what he thinks, and because of that he is more honest than others. The best reply to that is to simply tell them they don't know Trump, and that the scandal of Trump will be bigger than Watergate. Period.
