I agree with you on this, perhaps it could be abit of reaching BUT acquiring some of the shares on open market would allow them to increase their Bid offer without actually increasing their bid offer.

Interesting stuff for sure, could only see this if someone REALLY wanted to make sure they win. Either way win/win for us.
