Asking relevant questions is far more appropriate! Those come from understanding things, not making false assumptions or making things up. The context of the questions are also important. If you find you are not finding out anything with the "no kiss a$$ questions" then maybe whatever questions being asked are irrelevant or improperly asked. I cannot imagine any CEO responding to them.
