I agree with what you said, however certain posters have learned to stretch the TOU to the extreme.

Moderators, on off topic boards only, should be able set certain rules and be able to control the posts according to the rules.

I agree, Troy. I really don't see what the big deal is. Some Moderators seem to think that boards are their personal fiefdoms and they can delete posts that they don't agree with or delete posts from those that they simply don't like. Someone pays for a lifetime subscription, they are entitled to voice their opinion on all boards ie stock & non-stock related. While I am not a fan of private boards or clubs, if people want exclusivity, give it to them...for a price. Simply put, let them rent a room from the iHub site and not allow who or what they want. This could be an additional feature that iHub can charge for that is not included in the lifetime subscription fee. People who want to post on private boards pay extra...per board. Cause that is what they want...a private club.

I'm a little backlogged in my reading but from what I can see, this has to be right up there with post of the week, month, year!

I think I hear everybody regarding just throwing my hands in with the political boards. I find them incredibly annoying, but I guess it is my job.

The solution is pretty simple and it will piss off some people and make others happy. With a lot of the things I do, it will piss off the right people, though, they'll whine, then get used to it. It fits right in line with what I envision for this site, though.

What exactly is my decision?

You'll see. It will take a little more than just TOU changes. It won't be weeks for the change, I promise.

A number of other issues (like the racial comments) have been addressed privatley.

Edit: I realize everybody was expecting me to come out, guns-a-blazing, but I'm not. I simply don't care to get in a fight over something non-stock related. So, I took into consideration the arguments presented and I'll just do it the way I think it should be done.
