Former Deputy Dir of Central Intelligence John McLoughlin was on PBS' NewsHour tonight and said he was astonished that Dir of Nat'l Security Dan Coates heard this news from a reporter, not the president himself.
Reading McLoughlin's facial expressions and body language, he is clearly very concerned.
