AZ ME TOOO as I learnt sumthin NEW today

I never considered that fact that WMI was not offered TARPS because of their status as a HOLDING company and not a BANK HOLDING CO, but it makes sense actually all the sense in the world.
IS this your opinion or do you know this for fact? It makes all the sense in the world to me, so I am just asking

EDIT I just thought about AIG being given TARPS MONEY and they were not a bank so, maybe I didn't learn anything today as I thought
