We have not gotten an indication that they are actively seeking partnerships for HOT yet. That would command a deal about on the size of NEO, at best, and it costs a lot of future potential.
So I could see where they would want to hold that back, particularly if they have another way of generating funds. Do they? Unfortunately, there's been no evidence of execution recently, and this MAA withdrawal takes away THE cornerstone event from 2018.
