Nice try!! LOL!! Taken out of context is a favorite ploy for trying to obfuscate the real point of the question. Which is, are you a strong constitutionalist or only when it becomes an asset to bolster a narrative favorable to your opinion?
Is the National Guard a militia? Yes. But, an "organized militia" under control of the government to assure states rights. The Second Amendment was put in place not only to assure the rights of free states but to assure the right of the people to keep and bear arms.
But, we are going off topic here. I believe we should have stronger border security and utilize the Expedited Removal Law more frequently. No one has the right to illegally cross a country's border. There are guidelines and laws for seeking immigration and asylum legally. Those that choose the illegal way should be deported to the country from which they entered.
