My field is psychology. It's my job to notice patterns in people's lives. For instance when a person gets very lonely they get desperate for connection. Our biology is geared to relate people. Lonely people will frequently sacrifice self worth if they perceive a chance at companionship. Putin is a former intelligence officer in the KGB. Of course he knows Trump's vulnerabilities. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to put the pieces together and see the patterns of Trump's life.
Flynn's friendship with Trump stands out like a sore thumb because Trump doesn't have those types of friendships with other people. Why he's lonely is not hard to understand. No one likes spending time with people whom will lie and betray relationships, or talk about themselves all the time. I know their is a gentler side to Trump. His business side. Unfortunately he doesn't really show that much anymore. Nonetheless that gentler side is still attached to what he can get from people and not the reward of the relationship itself.
Their is an absence of people whom actually know Trump and show him love. His children are their but they are actually confirmation of my point. He has his kids close to him trying to run everything because he can't trust people enough to be close to them. The absence of him expressing love towards anyone is also noticeably absent. Case in point his daughter being called the C word immediately turned into how unfair people are towards him. Nothing remotely came from him that can be construed as caring at a time when it absolutely should have been present. You don't have to be a psychologist to figure that out. Any parent should know that.
And the predatory behavior is obvious and well documented. Over a dozen women came out and disclosed his non consensual sexual advances on them. They all had the same underlying patterns. He's on tape saying he does it and it was same pattern of behavior he was accused of over a dozen times. And he actually said he would walk into the the dressing rooms of teenage girls at beauty pageants because he owned the pageant so they couldn't tell him no. That's a predator. His ex-wife accused him of rape.
The long history of stiffing banks, blue collar workers he hired, ran a public company into the ground leaving shareholders with empty accounts, Trump University, and on and on and on. He's financially betrayed people his whole life. The attorney's he hired to defend him against the lawsuits for not paying people, had to turn around and sue Trump as well because he didn't pay them. These are not isolated incidents, such as anyone of us might get ourselves involved in at a bad time. These are patterns. This is who he is.
To further answer your question about links. Their is a theological question about evil and religion. 'How could a benevolent but all powerful god allow evil?' It's a dumb question in my opinion, but their is another point in it. Inherent in the question is the assumption we know evil is when we see it. That's because we do. We have an intrinsic sense of justice within us as humans. That's my link. We as people have an intrinsic ability to assess dark and light. Trump is darkness. This is America's nightmare.
