When you have a major dislocation in the economy like the financial crisis and control the purse strings, it is ludicrous to say that Obama was the reason for the rebound. ANYONE in the Presidency with the panic and the Fed and Congress voting on spending programs would have had the same results. Do you REALLY believe that if a McCain was elected, the economy would have been losing 800,000 jobs a months forever?
Trump takes credit for the good economy. Here's what economists say
"Trump taking credit for this is ludicrous."

Unemployment is down, the GDP is growing at over 3 percent, the stock market hits record highs nearly every day and President Trump says it's a function of his policies. Does he deserve the credit? Economics correspondent Paul Solman reports.
Course, Trump, being the kind of feed-my-ego guy that he is, neglects to mention the improved state of the world economy, and the negative pressure on economic growth arising from his negative stance on trade.
Yep, sortagreen, two examples of Trump's claiming full credit for something he's barely had a nibble at. Later, of course, you had to drill that point into conix. Unemployment and the Dow (for any future search for your images).
PS: guessing a ludicrous search may provide some other good future fodder too.
