Having spent a considerable amount of time in both countries, it is absolutely frightening how much the people are like us. Primarly of european descent with spanish, african and indigenous indians mixed together.

They are GOOD hard working people, like us. Yes, economically mucked up. Their problems did not originate with the people. But the politicos, and the NY banks (who turn a good buck down there). My best friend works for the IMF. When they enter it usually worsens.

It's all about government debt.
