IMO, you lucked out with the check. My experience is that if there are 2 names on the check ....... lol, it'll be our secret.
Computers and cars .... hey !! You forgot stocks ! That's 3 things that you give advice on with mixed results.
Back when people were buying their 1st computers, I gave out plenty of advice that was taken and used.
As for the stock market .... welllll I was just telling some guys at work that I'm tired of telling people what seems so obvious ... only to hear them parrot back what they hear on TV and then watch the marlets drop 15% in 3 weeks. :-(
The markets are completing a short term "Head and Shoulders" pattern, so I don't think the market is gonna be in a gift giving mood before you leave.
Jane and some other traders on SI bought RBAK around $7.50 -they've already warned and report today. It looks to me like its being shorted before earnings ... maybe a "cover on the news" play ?? I'm still thinking about it.
I wish Digichat had a feature that published a web page that contains the oh .... say .... a transcript of the most recent 10 minutes of chat ? That way, those of us that can't connect to Digichat can log into the web site and still see what's being chatted about ?
Just an idea.
Would be nice if Digichat let you fill in a browser-based form which would take some entered text and post it into the chatroom too.
Probably take about a week to code and test those 2 features.
