Very nice post, indeed!
--love dogs. We have, Jenny, a retired, 'adopted,' show dog, a beagle. Truthfully, one of her grandparents(whatever they are called in the dog world)went to the National Championship
in New York. Jenny, prior to us adopting her, won a number
of awards, including BEST IN STATE(WI), a number of years back. Enough of that un-important stuff--wanted to add some
flavor...once owned a simple 'mutt' years ago, that was just as important! Guess, we are
very proud of Jenny....more joyful of my wife finding her through her search for a pet companion.
Well, your post hit a nerve tonight. Jenny is getting older and has more growths and warts. One day soon, my wife and I will gather her ashes too.
Oh, I do believe in a heaven for these dogs. At least my prayer is for Jenny, and all of my family pets to be apart of
eternity.
In this crazy, up-side world, it is stunning what a simple
look, simple gesture from Jenny can do to make this a more
fulfulling life for my wife and I, as well as others that run into her during walks.
Take Care!
God...thank you for dogs!
