I think "(2) License for use of genetically modified (AI) silkworms in US Department of Agriculture (USDA) mass production" was changed to needing a country to declare it effective..

if we had needed fda approval (especially for consumption) that would have taken 10 yrs..

im guessing the biosafety certificate issue was also modified...

in return, we are going to be allowed to proceed in Vietnam while being scrutinized... we will need to start small and work up from there...but I think that's what kim was going to do anyway..

the only part I don't see as necessary, is the research facility...I don't see why we need one in Vietnam...I think it was a Vietnamese requirement..they want the secret sauce and how its made..

and apparently, we are going to give it to them...

I think you are putting too much into a translated statement.

Consider any restaurant in the USA has to be approved of by authorities every year and inspected periodically through the year.

It's really nothing.

As opposed to a desease research lab that needs government approval to remove a single cell from the premises.

I think the first batch will be required to be inspected to verify that we are in fact bringing what they are expecting into their country.
That is totally expected imo.

But as things progress they will be inspected no more than the fields of gmo corn.

I understand your concern but I seriously doubt that this is a big deal.
People here tend to expect the worst since they were trained by the OTC.
But some of these companies are just regular businesses facing regular hurdles in their operations.
I think kblb is one of those.
