Agreed blue, part of me has been wondering if they have in fact been doing tons of pre-clinical work on the other 20 opioid based NDA candidates they've told us for the past 4+ years they've been quietly working on.
If that's part of what's been going on for 4+ years running now...then we may end up being pleasantly surprised with how many additional opioid based NDA candidates mgmt. may soon start filing with the FDA...if they can succeed in getting there.
The problems with the generics pipeline are well documented...and I can't help but wonder just how far they might be along with their opioid based NDA candidates pipeline if they could've booked way more revenue from their generics pipeline over the past 4 years than they did sigh!
If mgmt. has made a lot more progress behind the scenes on their additional 20 opioid based NDA's...then perhaps part of mgmt.'s plan consists of securing partners on them just to get them filed with the FDA and therefore in motion. I realize the deals wouldn't be near as lucrative at this stage...but beggars can't be choosers at this point and all options for growth must be explored in order to ensure the company's survival then eventual success.
