Samsa- Just a guess on my part. Regabatin deal will have no money or cash up front- or very little. But partner will pay milestone payments and all costs for clinical testing. The clinical test costs will be substantial.
My guess as to what the Regabatin partnership will look like.
$20 million up front payment against a $100 million total package... and partner assumes all costs for development, NDA application duties and litigation costs if any.
$20 million up front $10 million on successful phase 3 results $20 million on FDA approval $50 million upon reaching $1 Billion accrued sales and 20% royalty payments on GROSS sales
or
$10 million up front $10 million on successful phase 3 results $30 million on FDA approval $50 million upon reaching $1 Billion accrued sales and 25% royalty payments on GROSS sales
So the only reason we do not way surpass the $1 mark is because someone does not want it to.
There is absolutely no reason whatsoever why the warrant holders would be shorting the stock as warrants are at 60 cents, $1.25, and $1.90 ?
Warrant holders do not short against the warrants unless the share price is considerably above the warrant strike price... so we have all warrant holders on the side of longs... with a great deal to lose and nothing to gain, and any other short would be out of their mind shorting here because there is so little downside versus so large an upside.
At one time I was big into conspiracies... not so much now... but if I were to take a page from back then, I would say... if MNK wanted to take IPCI over they could easily choke the share price, and considering they did next to nothing re: selling Seroquel XR where a mere 10% market share would have turned IPCI profitable... it just seems suspicious to me.
Another possibility is Purdue choking IPCI's share price... I still recall Purdue's CEO in 2016 saying they might acquire a platform that year, but nothing announced yet and PODRAS which I suspected then was the target, is still not acquired... also Odidi saying they would be testing PODRAS on an already approved drug... OxyContin???
ABOVE IS ALL GUESS WORK...
Samsa... need your expertise on a matter.
Did I read it right that Armitage? relinquished their 60 cent warrants because it chose to accumulate beyond an agreed upon limited amount of shares??? - if so... that is HUGELY positive to me.
Your numbers and logic don’t jive with the company’s history and reputation. I really hope I’m proven wrong but I think your off by at least a factor is 10.
