Hey Bill thanks for the input. What are Adolfo Marzol and Ed Pinto views on the GSEs ? Perhaps you could respond in your blog if that is easier. Thanks.

Not me; my guess would be Adolfo Marzol, former chief Marketing and credit guy in his years at Fannie; or even Ed Pinto, who was in Marketing'Single Family at Fannie.

Adolfo also spent time in the MI industry after Fannie.

I think the President just should name Navy Commander and get it right!!

Adolfo knows the mortgage business, and Fannie and Freddie, well, and in my view would be a better choice as FHFA director than any of the other people whose names have been bruited about for the position.
