The 100 cross is the entry trigger, initially. I do use the sling shot trade to exit and reverse, where it sets up.

There are other rules if the CCI will not cross over to the opposite 100 line. For example, suppose you short on the break of the +100. The CCI breaks the zero line, but does not break the -100. Then it gets back above the zero line again. I would exit the short and get long there on the break back above the zero line.
