I listened to the entire video, and also
some of the Q & A FFRF link, including the
cops singing "Imagine." Beautiful song btw.
Nothing is going to be settled here today,
unless the Spirit of God comes on anyone,
which did on me, so anything is possible.
I agree with a lot of what Ruth Green said.
She knows Scripture as an intellectual, but
she clearly does not understand the Gospel
of God through Jesus Christ, and if one reads
the Bible, led by the Spirit, that understanding
is made manifest. If one is not yet, or ever,
Spirit filled, there will never be a true
understanding of the Bible.
The Mother-Daughter team of the Gaylors was
special. Well scripted interviews that might
want to be updated at some point, but again,
it comes down to one thing:
Faith
God's grace, through faith, by the blood of the
lamb, Jesus Christ. He is the only way, and yes,
God is a God of justice, a jealous God, and a
righteous one.
I totally agree with to throw out the word "Religion"
and agree it has hurt us throughout the ages, because
these are all man's law and doctrines.
I was raised a Catholic, but left the Catholic church
years ago. I am a Bible believing Christian, or born-
again as well. I don't like or adhere to all of the
men's doctrines, and Catholicism messed me up a lot.
Look at our country now, at the world. You guys, you
nonbelievers, have gotten what you want. We have a
godless society. With few exceptions, I don't see
Christian's out being "anarchist" in my country, but
I do see a lot of non believing liberals out trashing,
rioting, beating people up, not letting people speak
at colleges,
what the fuck is up with all that?
It all comes down to the Spirit of God. Sorry, but it
does. Turn to God and I promise you will be saved. If
you don't like God, then fine, do what you guys are doing,
but it seems like rather than civil discourse, liberals
are trying to prevent the use of God, conservative talk,
it is getting hateful and outrageous, to the point I am
worried over my country.
I have a brother who is a liberal and over the years have
changed, again, he was saved. He is still liberal, but we
find common ground.
That is what me, a Christian,, and you, and Atheist, need
to find. Common ground, or we as a country are sunk.
This country is not even close to what is used to be. If
you think we have improved things here, go substitute teach
in a high school. There, you will see so many lost kids
who want to be led, but now, no parents, no talk of God, no
nothing.
So, y'all are getting what you want, and deserve. Maybe
with our current President we can make our country great
again. Look at things, much better, eh? but the divide
is palpable, and not healthy for us as Americans.
Have at it, is matters not. I respect you right to not
believe, but I chose Christ, or I should say, He saved me,
us, not because of anything we have done, but because of His
Mercy. He saved us though the washing of rebirth and renewal
by the Holy Spirit [Titus 3:5]
I struggled with this, but, if there is a Heaven, then no,
not "everyone" is going there. Most will be separated from
God forever. God is God.
He already knows what you will choose, because He either
saved you or He didn't. Sounds heartless, but it's the
exact opposite, but like I said, it takes the Spirit of
God to change your heart, not me.
