Only becauseI am relatively new to investing in a general sense ... what's the upside to keeping a stock's price down?!? Or shorting so to say. I need someone to explain the benefit in layman's terms with easy figures to demonstrate the point. I am just of the mind that if you want to invest in something you invest in it. And if not you don't. Obviously there's a lot more to the story.

I saw a commercial for Opdivio, on that commercial they listed all the side affects that it could attack healthy cells! Yet it has been prescribed to over 40,000 patients. Give me a break on safety concerns for Imetelstat.

Who are these “ Shorts “ ? are they large investors that are in the know and while knowing there is no significant milestone , conclusion to a trial ending or event , like a conformation of partnership decision is confirmed , why hasn’t J&J committed yet ? They listed Imetelstat as one of top oncology drug , appear to be taking steps to launch in Denmark , & poss other EU countries , are these Shorts the longs waiting for the right time to cover based on inside knowledge ? Here’s why I ask , this really small Bio has a 600 plus Mil MC there are blogs set up just to discuss Imetelstat, J&J is invested in not just trials , they filed Patent Applications for Imetelstat as if they already own it ! Not all but it def plays into the idea by some there is more than just a little interest , that and J&J is not shy about listing Imetelstat as a top oncology drug , other large Pharm trials in combo with their drugs , checkout Imetelstatchat good info from some Docs
