uplist shmuplist, how about the WEED they're testing, packaging, and getting ready to sell?

Namaste CEO Sean Dollinger mentioned in the last 420 show that they had received some weed from Supreme, but I didn't hear him expand on that much. I still think we'll get a PR on how the WEED processing is going sometime next week.

Here's the supply agreement with Supreme.

https://globenewswire.com/news-release/2018/01/25/1304860/0/en/Namaste-Announces-Supply-Agreement-With-Supreme-to-Purchase-1000-kg-of-Premium-Medical-Cannabis.html

Namaste Announces Supply Agreement With Supreme to Purchase 1000 kg of Premium Medical Cannabis

"This Agreement represents a significant milestone for Namaste, as its first commitment to a volume purchase of medical cannabis. Namaste believes that Supreme’s business plan of scaled production of branded, premium cannabis flower aligns itself well with Namaste’s goal of positioning Cannmart as Canada’s largest online retail e-commerce platform for medical cannabis."

"Select Terms of the AGREEMENT
Cannmart has agreed to purchase a minimum of 1000 kilograms of medical cannabis in the 2018 calendar year, starting from the date whereby Cannmart becomes a “Licensed Producer” as defined in the ACMPR.

7ACRES has agreed to supply Cannmart with premium medical cannabis at a price of $6,000 per kilogram.

Should Cannmart fail to purchase a minimum of 1000 kilograms of medical cannabis within the 2018 calendar year, Cannmart will be deemed to have purchased, and will pay for, the full 1000 kilograms at the price of $6,000 per kilogram; provided that if 7ACRES cannot supply to Cannmart the amount requested in any given month, then the amount owing shall be reduced by the amount they failed to supply in such month.

Cannmart has agreed to display 7ACRES’ trade-mark on all packaging of the 7ACRES product."

That's 1,000,000 grams total. Somewhere in the neighborhood of $10,000,000 to $12,000,000 gross depending.

CannMart obviously going for the high quality end of the market. No cut-rate shit will be tolerated.

Management Commentary
John Fowler, CEO of Supreme comments: “As a cultivation focused Licensed Producer we rely on strong retail partners to provide us access to consumers and favourable brand positioning. We are impressed by the platform being built by Namaste to date, and their innovative strategy to position Cannmart as a “sales-only” entity is a natural fit with our 7ACRES business model. The team at Namaste and Cannmart understand the value of premium cannabis flower and we look forward to taking part in the launch of Cannmart as one of Canada’s first “sales only” Licensed Producers.

BOOM!

but I think John Fowler got it wrong when he said "we look forward to taking part in the launch of Cannmart as one of Canada’s first “sales only” Licensed Producers". I'm pretty sure Namaste's CannMart is Canada's First sales only licensed producer.

Now they have to get all those little packages filled, sealed, numbered, and inspected by Health Canada before they can start bringing in the serious BudCoin.

BudCoin is like BitCoin, except that it's real.

There are still some unanswered questions:

Will Kory be personally sampling each gram to make sure it's all up to snuff?

Will there be a little holographic seal of authenticity featuring a silhouette logo of Sean's hairdo applied to each package?

Will the beautiful and now youtube famous Women of Namaste be putting out a calendar any time soon?

What does Namaste's current Oil Production license allow them to do?

Still digging on this one, but so far it looks like CannMart has been issued an OIL production license, but not an oil sales license.

https://www.canada.ca/en/health-canada/services/drugs-health-products/medical-use-marijuana/licensed-producers/authorized-licensed-producers-medical-purposes.html

If you go down the OIL column you'll see that some LP's have received OIL sales licenses and some have received just a "production" license. CannMart has a "production" license for oil.

So what does that mean?

I haven't seen PR from Namaste on what it really means yet, but judging from the PR released from others with production but not sales licenses it means the following:
"....is pleased to announce that the Company has been licensed by Health Canada to produce medical cannabis oils.
Once ******* has saleable extracted finished products, Health
Canada will conduct a final inspection to approve
the sale of cannabis oils by the Company."

The details I'm interested in are does that license then allow Namaste to start doing extraction of their own? or does it allow them to bring in oil from other extractors and then do the testing and packaging prior to getting the oil sales license?

Maybe we can get Kory to clarify that in the next 420?

simple answer: All of the Above

Where to hide all the profits?

I can finally get that manicure I've been dreaming of, and maybe freshen up that lower grill!

Namaste will probably have to get a robot like this one now.

I can't imagine they'l be filling 1,000,000 gram packages by hand.

NXTTF - The Robotic Arm is a joke.

After watching the video, it was clear that the robotic arm only made it take longer to fill the bags. That dude was filling the little cups first, BY HAND. Then the robo-bud dumped the little cups into a funnel where another human then filled the bags...

are you kidding me?

waste of time and money.

Here's a much better way to get it done

NXTTF Here's another one that's a bagger too.

This packaging equipment looks expensive. Has there been any mention of buying this stuff yet?

Will they need the packaging machines in place to get signed off on SOP?
